The challenge: collecting evidence for incorrect loading
Within the process of collecting and processing e-waste, containers are regularly loaded incorrectly. When a container is rejected, it is important to clearly record why it does not meet the requirements.
The original need was therefore simple but important: a reliable way to register rejections, capture evidence, and store photos in an organised manner. This formed the basis for a digital application that supports employees throughout the entire registration process.

An app that grew beyond the first use case
During development, it became clear that the app offered far more possibilities than just recording rejections. The solution evolved into a complete container management application in which the intake and status of e-waste containers are tracked centrally.
Employees can easily perform registrations, add photos, and capture important information directly. This creates more insight, less administrative processing, and a more reliable process.

In use at multiple locations
The application is now used at three different locations: Nijmegen, IJssel-Vecht, and Ede. Each location works with the same clear workflow while information remains centrally available.
